Connection to Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL Server
- Choose on the one of three first options on the Select data provider tabpage and click Next.
- Specify server name, username and password.
- From the dropdown list select database where the data will be extracted from.
- Preview tables from selected database.
- Type the name of the database connection and click on the Finish button.
Connection to Microsoft Access, DBASE file
- Choose on the "Microsoft Access" or "DBase file" option on the Select data provider tabpage and click the Next button.
- The next "Open dialog" will appear. Select database file you wish to load and click Open.
- In File name text box you can see the path of the selected database file. If you want to change the database file click on the ...button.
- Type the name of the database connection and click on the Finish button.
Connection to Other Data Source
- On the page of Databases Connection wizard choose last option.
- The next Data Link Properties wizard will appear. Select provider and click the Next button.
- On tab page Connection of Data Link Properties wizard, you can specify the database connection properties such as database server name, database name, user name, password and etc. It necessary to check
option Allow saving password to open database.
