marketing is list building. List building concepts are generally built around finding
people who have an interest in the subject of your website. For instance, if your
website is related to growing rabbits, you will naturally start to build a list
of people who have an interest in growing rabbits also. A person who is not interested
in this subject will have no interest in your website, or in joining your list.

Remember that your list needs to be opt in. People must choose to join your list
in order to receive email from you. This is a standard procedure of netiquette or
Internet etiquette. It is only polite. Your list should remain confidential. This
is only good business practice.

articles about the subject your website covers. If you own a website on raising
rabbits chances are good that you are an expert in that area. If you write short
articles about your subject and make those articles available free of charge to
websites and forums that need content you can include a link to your website in
the article and use them as free advertising to make people aware of your website.

are simple. They just require getting the word out, and Internet marketing is a
varied and diverse type of marketing. Ranging from simply putting your URL in the
signature line of your email to affiliate programs to writing articles and doing
link exchanges, you will find that there are many ways. List building concepts and
methods of Internet marketing will start to come to you in your sleep when you begin
to think like an Internet marketer.
